Demi Moore and Kim Kardashian’s Twitter Clash

Demi Moore got a bit worked up at Kim Kardashian for using the word ‘pimp’ in a positive way and let Kim (and the rest of the world) know just how she felt about it.

Last night Kim was partying in Miami’s LIV club with her friends; tennis champ Serena Williams, singer Kelly Rowland and DJ/presenter Lala Vasquez. While enjoying a girls night out, Kim took a picture (seen above) and posted it on her twitter with the title “Big Pimpin.”

Demi Moore took offence to this and immediately responded via twitter, asking the reality star if by “big pimpin” she referring to “big pimping?”

Here’s how the conversation went down:

I totally agree with what Demi Moore was saying, it’s true that we’ve taken this bad word, that’s completely horrid with disgusting meanings, which still apply today and spun it around to represent something good. So yes, what she was saying was right, but I think picking out Kim – especially in such a public manner – was totally unfair. She wasn’t intentionally trying to glorify the word, and if anything she’s an example of how (a large percentage of) society view this horrible word and is somewhat of a reflection of how the younger generation miss-use particular words.

In a nutshell:

Demi Moore was completely right with what she was saying, but the way she went about doing so was completely wrong. And Kim Kardashian should not be used as a ‘scapegoat’ in order to make this point. Let’s focus on society as a whole, not just one person in society who just so happens to be in the limelight.

In other Kim Kardashian news, it seems like the rumour she’s dating Manchester City footballer Wayne Bridge is completely untrue. She posted The Sun’s front page of the ‘story’ to her 3million pus twitter followers and asked; “Who the hell is Wayne Bridge? LOL Someone please fill me in because I have no clue!”

Well that settles that then doesn’t it? I did think Kim being a WAG was a little far-fetched.  Oh well.
