Amy Winehouse is arguably one of the best singers to come out of the UK in a long time. Back To Black is one of my favourite albums. But her demise into heavy drugs has left most of us thinking she might not ever be able to create a master piece like Black To Black ever again. Every time you see her live she’s just a shadow of her old self (and that’s putting it lightly).
But it looks like things may finally be looking up for Ms Winehouse. Mark Ronson last week said the pair have been in the studio working on new material and now her dad Mitch says she’s been making tracks with none-other-than Quincy Jones.
Over the weekend she did three tracks for Quincy Jones. She’s doing great.
