As her single sells only a handful of copies…
Nadine Coyle has admitted she misses herGirls Aloud bandmates, despite reportedly not getting on with the other girls.
The Irish star’s solo single Insatiable was released this week but has so far struggled to sell. Newspapers today report that only 117 physical copies of the song had been bought at Tesco stores.
And it seems she may be missing happier days with the group.
Nadine said: “With the Girls Aloud studio process we always went into the studio by ourselves. I’ve always been in the studio alone. So the recording wasn’t really any different.
“It’s now when it comes to doing this stuff – interviews and things that I’m thinking I need more people around, I think ‘ahh, where are the girls?’”
In another interview with Heat Magazine Coyle denied she had any kind of feud with Cheryl Cole. She said “I really, really, really like her.”
Call me a sceptic, but Nadine has pretty much spent the last year distancing herself from Girls Aloud and while on the promo tour for her new single, she’s been taking so many digs a Cheryl. I think now that her solo stuff is failing she realizes how much she needs Girls Aloud.
Some of Nadine’s comments were pretty out of order, but I do hope the girls can patch up their differences and make another album together. Nadine’s got a lot of apologizing to do…
