EMA’s 2010: Pictures x Full Winners List!

Last night’s MTV Europe Awards, which took place in Madrid, Spain and hosted by Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria, was probably the best EMA’s to date. I even think it was better than the VMA’s. Usually the European version is normally second class, in comparison to the American version – which takes place two months earlier. But I’d say this years EMA’s was a lot better than this years VMA’s, which was a little bit dull. But mind you, the EMA’s were dominated by American acts. The only European musicians that performed (that was shown on UK TV) were Plan B and Dizzee Rascal. So in Hindsight, the Yanks were still the real winners. But hey, it’s called the ‘European’ awards, so we’ll take it anyway J

The star studded event had cracking performances from Bon Jovi, Rihanna, 30 Seconds To Mars, Kanye West, B.o.B, Shakira, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Linkin Park, Plan B, Dizzee Rascal and Kings of Leon. Talk about a killer line up. MTV did well this year. And it was in Madrid. I heart Madrid, I go there every spring – it’s a great city. If you haven’t been, you must go, it’s great. Really great.

As predicted Lady Gaga was the big winner of the night. The flamboyant singer bagged three gongs, including ‘Best Female’ and ‘Best Pop’. Teen sensation Justin Bieber also had a triumphant night, taking home ‘Best Male’ and ‘Best Push Artist’. Both stars didn’t attend the bash in person, but were both a big part of the show via live satellite.

  1. This weblog appears to get a large ammount of visitors. How do you promote it? It offers a nice individual spin on things. I guess having something useful or substantial to post about is the most important factor.
