The 21-year old beat fellow finalist, Happy Mondays frontman Shaun Ryder, to the title, as she broke down in tears after being told she had won the show.
After hosts Ant & Dec revealed that she had been victorious, Solomon claimed:
“What the hell just happened? Thank you so much, i dunno what to say.”
Stacey was then freed from camp as she ran over the bridge to be reunited with her son Zach, her mum Fiona and boyfriend, Aaron Barnham.
Solomon became the most favoured contestant ever to win the show, with some bookmakers giving odds of 1/16 on her to be crowned Queen of the jungle.
Since leaving the camp, Stacey has claimed that she “can’t wait” to leave Australia and go home to Dagenham, telling The Sun she was “stunned” to win the show.
The XF star explained: “I can’t wait to get back to Dagenham. I’m going to see my friends and go down the pub for a Malibu and pineapple. Maybe two.” – MTV News.
Stacey’s like one of the nicest geniune sweetest person ever, so she totally deserves the win. Congrats girl!
