One’s a teen pop sensation and the other’s a rap icon. But it seems as though Kanye West and Justin Bieber could be joining forces for the 16-year-old heartthrob’s new album. The two musicians previously worked together on a remix for Justin’s ‘Runaway Love’, but now Kanye is keen to get back in the studio with Usher’s protégé…
JB’s manager, Scooter Braun, has revealed that the outspoken rapper/producer wants to produce a few new tracks for the teen stars new album. During a live web chat, Scooter said: “Justin and Kanye had a call about a song they’re trying to work on together. Kanye wants to produce a bunch of new songs for his new album.”
Despite revealing the cards were on the table, Scooter didn’t go into any further detail about the potential collaboration.
Justin’s ‘My World’ album was named the third most successful LP of 2010, selling 5.8 million copies. Kanye’s ‘My Twisted Dark Fantasy’ record has topped a number of ‘Best Album Of 2010’ charts, so this seems like a very clever partnership.
