After ditching Twitter over a year ago, Kid Cudi has made his grand return to the social networking site. The ‘Day ‘n’ Night’ rapper wasted no time in getting back into the swing of things, by revealing to fans his very busy plans for 2011…
The Kanye West signee opened up a new account (@wizardcud) where he talked about his upcoming rock album with his newly-formed band, Wizard. “Pushing for a summer release of the Wizard album. I’ll produce and play guitar on everything with my main man @dotdagenius,” the 26-year-old musician tweeted. “Wizard is a rock album, no raps, just singing. Brand new thing.”
Cudi also revealed that he will feature on Jay-Z and Kanye West’s new album ‘Watch The Throne’, exclusively saying: “Working on some Jay and Ye s**t. Ima finish up some things and then I’m going to chop it up with y’all. Word : ). Annnnd officially going ham.”
And for all those rap fans who may not be down with Cudi’s new rock path, he revealed he hasn’t abandoned hip-hop and will also be releasing a free rap mixtape, which will be out this summer.
He added: “Oh I forgot the best news ever! New mixtape, ‘A Man Named Scott’. That’s this summer. For all those who f**k with my raps, this is for you, since I’m going to be all rocked out with the Wizard s**t. Also it’s free! Yes! Man I’m really happy to FINALLY get all that good news out there. More to come, not even close.”
Kid Cudi will also begin filming for the second season of his HBO drama ‘How To Make It In America’ in March. Someone’s got a very busy year ahead of them.
