Speaking on the TV show US Today, R-Pattz discussed the ‘traumatic’ incident which he says affected shooting most recent movie Water For Elephants, which is set in a circus. Despite laughing as he said it, Rob’s insisted his ‘fear’ stems from a family trip to the circus when he was a boy, telling the show’s host Matt Lauer:
“The first time I went to the circus somebody died. One of the clowns died. His little car exploded. The joke car exploded on him.
“Seriously. Everybody ran out. It was terrifying.”
Pattinson also advised staying on the right side of zebras during filming, and revealed that the shoot for both parts of the forthcoming Twilight finale Breaking Dawn has now wrapped.
