The BRIT Awards 2012: Full Winners List!

So the biggest night in UK music just happened, but unlike the Grammy’s the previous week, the BRIT Awards lacked a certain je ne sais quoi. Admittedly, the performances were really good: Bruno Mars and Adele both put on a pitch perfect amazing performance, Rihanna raised the energy levels with an uptempo fun rendition of her number one smash hit single “We Found Love”,  Ed Sheeren and Florence and the Machine showcased Britsh talent at its best and Blur took us down memory lane with some  Brit-pop 90’s classics.

But even with all those great performances, the show was still a little lackluster. But it was a great showcase for British music none-the-less.

A HUGE congrats to Ed Sheeran for bagging two gongs and Rihanna and Bruno Mars for winning international male and female artist.  Also well done to One Direction on getting their first ever BRIT Award (such lovely handsome young  lads). And a special congratulations to Adele,  who also bagged two awards. But shame on the BRITs organizers for doing a Kanye on her, by cutting her off before she got the chance to make an acceptance speech after winning the biggest prize of the night. But hey, no need to feel sorry for Adele, she’s no Taylor Swift, the feisty singer stuck her fingers up, telling the organizers to F%@K OFF for their rude interruption – you go girl! Adele’s from Tottenham, don’t get it twisted.

  1. Gwan Adele. How dare they cut her off. that’s so rude. She has single handedly saved pop music and put Britain on the musically map internationally and the Brits cant even let her say thanks after winning the biggest award in order for an 11minute performance from Blue. Epic Fail on the ITV’s part.
