Congratulations To Prince William & Kate Middleton On Their Engagement!

After eight years of dating Prince William has finally popped the question to his long term girlfriend Kate Middleton. The couple – both 28 – will marry in the spring or summer next year. The young prince gave his bride-to-be his late mother’s engagement ring – his way of keeping the late Diana a part of the celebrations.

Check out the full exclusive interview above.

Congratulations to them both, they make such a beautiful couple and I’m sure Kate will be a great addition to royal family.  It’s fair to say royal mania will be on overdrive over the next few months.

Perez Hilton Talks To Nicki Minaj: The Interview!

The new and improved ‘nicer’ Perez Hilton had a chat with Nicki Minaj for an exclusive interview, where she talks about coming up in the game, working with mentor and newly freed Lil Wayne and getting along with other female MCs.

During the interview I actually learned something new; I didn’t know Nicki went to performing arts school. I now expect to see her in a film soon. Maybe her and Drake do something together. Perhaps Young Money can start a movie company, you know, like what Master P did with No Limit Ent and what Dame Dash did… OK maybe not. But I can deffo see her doing some acting in the future.

I love Nicki and I can’t wait ’till her new album Pink Friday comes on 22 November – the day female hip-hop was resurrected. Amen!

Lady GaGa ‘Upset’ By Eva’s EMAs Meat Dress Gag!

Eva Longoria

Lady GaGa is allegedly ‘upset’ that MTVEMAs host Eva Longoria poked fun at her meat dress by wearing a piece of ham at the award ceremony last night.

GaGa, who picked up three awards at the star-studded bash, was said to be annoyed that Longoria made fun out of the gory gown that she wore to the VMAs earlier this year, accusing the Desperate Housewivesactress of ‘stealing’ her style.

While hosting the Europe Music Awards in Madrid yesterday evening, Eva emerged wearing the ham joint, as she joked: “Lady GaGa couldn’t be here tonight but she left this dress in the refrigerator backstage.”

The Bad Romance singer reportedly did not see the funny side to Longoria’s prank, with a source telling The Mirror: “Gaga didn’t find it funny and said that Eva should find her own gimmicks,”

GaGa, real name Stefani Germanotta was also quoted as saying: “Why can’t she stop stealing my ideas?”

While Longoria’s ham outfit may have upset Lady G, we are pretty sure she is not going to be impressed with Jamiroquai front man, Jay Kay‘s comments in which he has branded GaGa ‘a money-making freak.’

The Space Cowboy singer, who angered The X Factor judges Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue on last week’s results show by calling them ‘f***ing useless’, has now launched an angry tirade against the Poker Face hitmaker.

Jay Kay told The Sun: “Lady GaGa is a money-making freak for her label. We (Jamiroquai) are not like that. We do music, not marketing.”

“Lady GaGa is obviously a phenomenon. The world loves a freak. If the record companies see that they can make money with them, they will do anything.”

He added: “Don’t worry, next time we’ll come dressed in asparagus. And with tomatoes too.”

If you missed all the action from the EMAs, you can watch the show all this week on MTV!

Eva Longaria Parker To Host 2010 EMA’s!

Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria Parker has been announced as the host of next months MTV Europe Music Awards.

The actress will follow in the footsteps of pop singers Katie Perry and Christina Aguilera to host the annual bash, which takes place in Madrid and will see performances from the likes of Kings of Leon, Ke$ha, Linkin Park and two-time host Katy Perry.

Here’s what Eva had to say…

“I’m beyond excited to be asked to host the 2010 EMAs and getting to do it in the beautiful city of Madrid is the icing on the cake. I can’t wait to see some fabulous performances and love that the most nominated artists this year are two amazing women, making some of the most exciting music in pop right now!”

Nicki Minaj

Nicki Minaj won big at this weekends BET Hip-Hop Awards, which took place at Atlanta’s Civic Center. The Young Money newcomer took home three gongs, Rookie of the Year, People’s Champ and the Made You Look award…

The flamboyant rapper, who wore a bold blonde wig, with a sexy tight-fitted black dominatrix inspired outfit, matched with bright pink nail varnish, acknowledged her influential role for females in hip-hop, thanking her fellow female rappers in the process: “I’m paving the way for girls,” she said. “I wanna thank all the girls of hip-hop.”

The 25-year-old also thanked her devoted Barbie fans, saying: “I didn’t think I was going to win this award, but I probably have a million little Barbies on Twitter that probably voted for me and I love you guys very much for that.”

Jay-Z was another big winner at Saturday night’s bash, also bagging three awards. Jigga didn’t attend, but made a big impact none-the-less, winning CD of the Year (The Blueprint 3), Perfect Combo (for his Alicia Keys-assisted ‘Empire State of Mind’) and Best Live Performer.

Other high profile no-shows were Eminem and Kanye West, but the event still had big star power, with the likes of P Diddy, Rick Ross, B.o.B, Nelly, Busta Rhymes, Soulja Boy, Birdman and Keri Hilson in attendance.

The highlights of the night were the live performances, which included a grand show opener by double winner Rick Ross, who brought out Diddy, DJ Khalid and MC Hammer. Other great performers included B.o.B, Soulja Boy and J.Cole.

But it was the Dipset reunion that was one of most memorable parts of the night. The Harlem natives hadn’t been on speaking terms for years, but put their differences aside and patched things up this summer and are set to release a new album. This was the first time since their reunion that all key members of the Diplomats have been on stage together. Juelz Santana, Cam’ron, Jim Jones and Freekey Zekey performed new song ‘Salute’ – sending audiences into a moment of nostalgia.

Surprisingly the BET Hip-Hop Awards is scheduled to air Stateside on October 12 on BET – nearly two weeks after the event. You’d think they’d show it a bit sooner…
