New Video: Lana Del Rey “National Anthem” (Featuring A$AP Rocky)

Flashbacks: Throughout the promo it switches to colour as Lana sports different glamorous and feminine looks

With so much emphasis on live shows, music video just aren’t what they used to be. Rihanna‘s visuals for “We Found Love” was the first video in a long time, which made me say, ‘WOW! This is a pretty damn good video’.

Now Lana Del Rey‘s latest offering  from her chart topping Born To Die LP, has me echoing the same thoughts. The 25-year-old songstress has released the video for her new single “National Anthem”, which sees Harlem rapper A$AP Rocky play  former US President John F. Kennedy, while Miss Del Rey channels his wife Jacqueline Kennedy.

An unusual but amazingly intriguing concept. Check out the video below, it’s pretty damn cool.

Chris Brown Unveils New Art Work!

Not content with just singing and dancing, Chris Brown has unveiled his new artwork. The R&B star recently teamed up with Australian artist Kid Zoom and created some really interestingly unique crazy art designs.

I fell in love with art around the age of six. I always took pride in kind of winning the coloring contests in school,” explained Breezy. “Art was my only outlet. Aside from music, art is the thing that I like to escape. And I appreciate other artists who have that talent and that eye for detail and eye for their own imagination. Art is a part of my life and it influences me completely.

Check out some more of Breezy’s art work below – it’s some good stuff…

IVANA PILJA’s SERBIAN JAPAN

I love art that meets fashion and this picture that I came across via Iconique is just beautifully executed.

Ivana Pilja we were immediately intrigued. Ivana Pilja is a Fashion Designer and Graduate of the “College of Design”, Belgrade, Serbia . She worked as a designer for sport and streetwear lines in various fashion houses since 2007 and it’s there she gained great experience. We show her first avant-garde collection (which is also her graduation work). The Serbian’s inspiration came from origami culture, which resonates into the strong, geometrical, straight lines of her 12 creations. And of course you have to love those wigs that were created in collaboration with Djurdjica Ivanovic-Djuka!
