Don’t Be Mad At Gwyneth Paltrow, Be Mad At Jay-Z & Kanye West For Calling Their Song “N***as In Paris”!

Over the last few days I’ve read numerous blogs and publications bashing Gwyneth Paltrow for using the ‘N’ word on Twitter during a “Watch The Throne” gig in France. And by no means do I support the usage of such language, but I think the backlash is aimed at the wrong person.

The Hollywood actress – who’s BFF’s with Jay-Z and his wife Beyonce – got onstage with Jigga and Kanye West during the show and later tweeted a photo of herself standing near the rappers, with the caption “Ni**as in paris for real.”

And that’s when the outrage began. “How dare she use the N word?” Many gasped. “She should know better” a lot people said. Erm, shouldn’t Jay-Z and Kanye know better? If you’re going to name your song “N***as In Paris”, then what do you expect? She obviously didn’t mean it in an offensive way, but it’s clearly an offensive word.

I totally understand why people will say she shouldn’t have tweeted that, but what I don’t understand is that why is nobody criticizing the rappers? They’re the ones who are promoting the word like it’s ‘cool’. Let’s deal with the root of the problem. Let’s be mad at the ones who ignorantly promote the word, not just the fans who naively (and ignorantly) imitate them. I LOVE hip hop music – and Jay-Z & Kanye are two of my favourite artists – but I think it’s about time we heard less of the ‘N’ word in rap songs (especially in the songs title).

Here’s British rapper AKALA talking about why he’s decided to stop using the ‘N’ word in his lyrics.

Chris Brown Accused of Stealing Fans iPhone!

Chris Brown has been accused of angrily snatching an iPhone in Miami.

I don’t how much weight this story has, as I know TMZ really don’t like Chris Brown. But the 22-year-old R&B singer doesn’t seem to be doing himself any favours. The US celebrity website is reporting Brown angrily snapped at a fan for taking a picture of him outside a night club, then snached her phone and sped off in his Mercedes. Oh dear.

Here’s what TMZ is reporting:

Chris Brown has been accused of angrily snatching some girl’s iPhone outside a nightclub in Miami this weekend … and driving off with it — law enforcement tells TMZ.

A rep for the Miami Beach PD tells TMZ, 24-year-old Christal Spann filed a police report Sunday for “robbery by snatching” — claiming she followed Chris and rapper Tyga out of Cameo nightclub early in the morning (see photo above) … and snapped a picture of Chris getting into his Bentley.

Christal told cops … Chris flipped out when he saw her camera phone– then grabbed it through the car window, saying, “Bitch, you’re not gonna put that on the Internet.”

According to the police report, Chris then rolled up his window and drove off — $500 iPhone in hand.

A rep for the Miami Beach PD tells us, no arrests have been made and no warrant has been issued yet. We’re told the incident is currently under investigation.

It’s not looking to good for CB…

Adele Hits Back after Karl Lagerfeld’s “Too Fat” Comment!

While Lagerfeld backtracks, saying his comments were “taken out of context”

Earlier this week outspoken fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld caused outrage when he labeled Brit singing sensation Adele “a little bit too fat”.

During a recent interview with a French publication, the fashion guru, 78, had appeared to be attempting to compliment the Someone Like You singer, saying she had a “beautiful face” and divine voice, but then proclaiming she was a “little bit too fat” – a comment that has infuriated many.

Not one to take things lying down, the feisty singer has hit back, saying she’s never aspired to look like a model and is very proud of her voluptuous curves.

In an interview with People magazine, the 23-year-old says: “I’ve never wanted to look like models on the cover of magazines. I represent the majority of women and I’m very proud of that.”

With a backlash in full swing and many demanding for a boycott of Chanel, where Lagerfeld is creative director, the flamboyant designer has since backtracked on his comments, saying it was “taken out of context”.

Backtracking, he said: “I’d like to say to Adele that I am your biggest admirer. Sometimes when you take a sentence out it changes the meaning of the thought… Adele is my favorite singer and I am a great admirer of her. I lost over 30 kilos 10 years ago and know how it feels when the press is mean to you in regards to your appearance. Adele is a beautiful girl.”

I’m glad Adele’s sticking up for herself, because she’s a very talented beautiful girl and doesn’t need some fashion designer – who probably thinks any woman over a size 10 is too big – criticizing her appearance. I’ve always been a fan of Karl Lagerfeld, but in the future he  really should just STFU!

Rihanna Made A Sex Tape with J Cole According to Hustler!

I don’t believe this for one second, but Hustler magazine is claiming it has a sex tape featuring Rihanna and J Cole.

The Roc  Nation label mates travelled across America together earlier this year as Cole supported RiRi’s “LOUD” tour and now the porn company has told RadarOnline that they are in possession of a sex tape of the two stars.

“Hustler are in possession of the Rihanna and J-Cole tape,” said a rep for the adult company. “We have seen it and we do not know what we are going to do with it yet.”

While they refused to disclose any further details of the tape, the fact that it exists is sure to have Rihanna quaking in her stilettos.
However, despite Hustler’s claim about the pair, a source close to Rihanna is still denying it exists.

“Rihanna is surprised because there is no sex tape,” they told RadarOnline.com.”

Rihanna took to Twitter to deny the bizarre story, tweeting, “We don’t believe U, U need more people…AND ofcourse an actual sextape! #slownewsday.”

Vanessa Laker Meets LMFAO: The interview!

Their songs are permanent fixtures on the dancefloors and in the music charts, and with their flamboyant attire, LMFAO could give easily Lady GaGa a run for her money in the style stakes. Following in the musical footsteps of their father and grandfather – Motown founder, Berry Gordy – Redfoo and SkyBlu are spreading their ‘Party Rock’ sound across the globe…

MTV’s Vanessa Laker recently caught up with the Grammy-winning electro rappers to talk wild parties, knocking Jennifer Lopez off the top spot and to find out if they really are just as crazy in real life…

Vanessa: Hi guys! So what craziness have you been getting up to whilst in London?

Redfoo: Every night has been insanely crazy.

SkyBlu: KER-RAY-ZY!

Redfoo: Last night was probably actually the most craziest night ever, and that’s saying a lot. I mean, we’ve been busy as hell – we’ve done a bunch of interviews and a few TV shows, and then we did a few live shows – but we did a show at the Cirque Du Soleil, which was bananas.

Vanessa: Cirque Du Soleil is a pretty cool place to do a live show…

Redfoo: It really is. That show got wild! I mean, it was just non-stop shenanigans.

SkyBlu: Yeah, sometimes it gets pretty wild. I stage dived on a table full of bottles and cut my finger. I needed stitches and everything, but it’s all good.

Vanessa: So you guys go pretty hard then when you’re performing?

SkyBlu: We go hard all day, every day.

Vanessa: Cool. So, Laugh My F*%cking A*s Off. That’s an interesting name. How did you guys come up with that as your official group name?

SkyBlu: Grandma did.

Redfoo: Yep, straight up.

SkyBlu: Well, actually, she didn’t do it, someone in the family did. They just described us.

Redfoo: No, grandma gave us the name in a cheque and posted it to us.

SkyBlu: Oh yeah! Grandma’s amazing like that.

Vanessa: How did your nicknames, Redfoo and SkyBlu, come about?

Redfoo: You know how a lot of people choose their names? Well, our names chose us. There’s this thing where names get together and they draw out of a hat. Apparently, Redfoo came out as a little figurine of me and said, ‘POW!’ That’s the guys name I’m going to be.

TWU: Interesting! What about you, SkyBlu?

SkyBlu: Well, my mother was in the air force and she was giving birth on a cargo plane and BAM! Out in the blue sky, came SkyBlu. Straight up! Just like a balloon in the sky.

Vanessa: That’s a very unique story. Speaking of unique, you guys have a very unique sense of style. Have you always been such flamboyant characters?

Redfoo: We grew up in a playful environment, in a surfing community. It’s called the Pacific Palace, which is where they used to tape Baywatch. You know, we’ve always been mucking around and were introduced to the bright lights at a really young age – hence the bright purple trousers that I’m wearing today.

SkyBlu: Shout out to Eddie Murphy.

Vanessa: You guys are clearly quite out there. What’s the craziest thing that’s happened whilst touring on the road?

SkyBlu: So many crazy things happen. Fire extinguishers. We went to [London club] Jalouse the other night and I took the fire extinguisher and just sprayed it like everywhere. It will be on YouTube soon.

Redfoo: He just does stuff like that and once he’s full up on Red Bull, you just can’t stop him. It’s all just crazy.

Vanessa: The staff must have been pretty peeved off that night (laughs). OK, let’s talk music. Your single, ‘Party Rock Anthem’, recently topped the UK charts. What was that feeling like?

SkyBlu: It felt amazing! It was one of the most amazing feelings.

Redfoo: It’s a dream come true. It’s a fantasy come true. It’s more than just a dream, it’s an actual fantasy. You know, it’s like you work so hard to achieve what you’ve always dreamed about and now you gotta work on the struggle. We gotta keep on doing what we’re doing to maintain the dream.

Vanessa: And you guys knocked Jennifer Lopez off the top spot. That must have made the number one even more victorious?

Redfoo: It was actually better when we were behind her, at number two.

SkyBlu: Being behind J-Lo is a fun position.

Redfoo: It’s a very fun position to be in, coming up right behind her, and then BAM! You’re on top. It was like number one for four weeks. We hit that.

SkyBlu: We hit that spot, because we’re G’s!

Redfoo: Yeah, baby!

Vanessa: Now, your 2008 debut single, ‘I’m In Miami B*tch!’, became a full blown anthem – and it still is today. Did you envision it would be so huge when recording it?

Redfoo: Everything we do is a dream, it’s a vision. But when we made that track, it was an experiment. Did Alexander Graham Bell think that when he made the telephone that it was gonna be that huge? So in that retrospect, I don’t think we knew it was going to be a ‘party anthem’ – a crazy thing to get the party started. It was more for us, to go to Miami and have a song that was relevant. We made it for the travellers. It’s a traveller’s song. It’s for wherever you’re at and not where you’re from. It’s where you’re at. Right now, we’re in London, so I’ll say, ‘I’m in London B*tch!’

Vanessa: Your new album, ‘Sorry For Party Rocking’, is out soon. Tell us a bit about that…

Redfoo: It’s out on July 18. It’s a very experimental album. The ingredients were made, the experiment was done. It’s a fun album that you can really rock out to and just have a good time to. The invention is there.

Vanessa: And why did you call it ‘Sorry For Party Rocking’? What are you apologising for?

SkyBlu: For the never-ending party. It goes on and on and just NEVER stops.

Vanessa: Your new single – which features Brit singer, Natalia Kills – is titled ‘Champagne Showers’. Do you have many champagne showers?

SkyBlu: For sure! Life is one big party.

Vanessa: I hear you also have your hands in the fashion industry. Tell us a bit about your Party Rock clothing line…

Redfoo: Party Rock Clothing is every bit of passion. I wanted to dress from head to toe in something that I made: shoes, underwear and everything else. It’s a fun and fresh line.

Vanessa: And you also have a social networking site, right?

Redfoo: Yep! Party Rock People was an accessory for the fans, to show them that we’re part of the people, too. You know, it could have just been a Facebook group, but nah, you can’t control it the way you need to.

Vanessa: And if you guys weren’t making music or weren’t involved in the entertainment industry, what would you be doing?

SkyBlu: Making love for money.

Vanessa: Kind of like a male gigolo?

SkyBlu: A male gigolo!

Redfoo: You have to do what you love to do and making love, that’s a passion of ours.

Her American X-Factor dream may have only lasted a mere few days, but it seems Cheryl Cole May be cracking the US afterall. According to reports the Brit singer is inline to star in a Hollywood movie alongside A-listers Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Lopez.

The former X Factor star is said to be in “advanced talks” to play a talent show judge who assesses Diaz’s character in upcoming film What to Expect When You’re Expecting.

Kelly Osbourne Slams Kate Middleton To Wearing The Same Outfit Twice!

The nation fell in  love with Kate Middleton because of her down to earth  girl-next-door demeanor. ButKelly Osbourne seems to think the Duchess of Cambridge should be more ‘diva-like’.

During a recent interview with Jay Leno on The Tonight Show, Ms. Osbourne slammed Prince William‘s wife for wearing the same outfits more than once.

“If I am going to be the future bloody Queen of England I’m going to wear that dress once because I’m giving up the rest of my life, all of my privacy, at least I can get a new dress every day.”

Kate Middleton/Duchess of Cambridge wears same blue jaquard dress coat twice.

I think it’s great she wears an outfit more than once. I like Kelly O, but in this situation she needs to just shut it.

Justin Timberlake’s Bouncer Beats Up London Photographer!

Justin Bodyguard Kick

Justin Timberlake‘s goons bodyguard beat up a London photographer after the pesky paparazzo tried to take pics of the singer as he entered the Nobu resturant in central London.

The Sexy Back singer is in the UK to promote new movie Friends With Benefits  and was out at the fancy eatery with co-star and rumored love interest Mila Kunis and a group of friends, when they were surrounded by a large group of hungry paps.

The scene became extremely hectic and the photogs were apparently blocking Justin from entering the restaurant. That’s when his bodyguard lost his rag and attacked one of the paps, pushing him to the ground and kicking him repeatedly whilst he was on the floor.

The bodyguard was arrested later that evening at the Dorchester Hotel, where the US singer is staying.

The Met police released the following statement:

“Police were called to Berkeley Square at approximately 9.45 last night. A man alleged he was assaulted. He suffered minor injuries. He did not require hospital treatment.

“Officers later arrested a 45-year-old man at a central London hotel on suspicion of common assault. He is being held at a central London police station. Enquiries are ongoing.”

The bodyguard has since been released, but judging from the pictures, he can’t really deny it can he?
