Tinie Tempah Unimpressed By Pippa Middleton’s Bottom!

On April the 29th, millions gathered around their TV screens to witness the historic Royal Wedding ofPrince William and his long-term girlfriend Kate Middleton, at London’s Westminster Abbey. And while Kate looked stunning in her elegant Sarah Burton for McQueen gown, it’s fair to say her little sister, Pippa Middleton, stole the show.

The younger Middleton sister wore a figure hugging white drape front dress – also designed by Sarah Burton – and instantly became a global sensation. She even had more internet hits than the actual bride herself, and became a “trending” topic on social networking site Twitter.

Since the wedding, Pippa’s bottom has got men around the world going crazy and her now-famous derriere even has its own Facebook group, which has attracted over 200,000 members.

Well, someone who’s not impressed with The Duchess of Cambridge’s sister ‘small’ bottom its Tinie Tempah. The Brit MC allegedly told The Sun that he thinks Pippa’s bottom is so overrated.

“I’ve not actually got what all the fuss is about,” the ‘Pass Out’ star explained. “I prefer a bigger bum. I’m definitely a bum man but she’s not doing it for me. Sorry Pippa.”

The Grime MC went on to reveal that Cheryl Cole is more his cup of tea. “I fancy her, she’s a good looking girl,” reports Tempah.”

Tinie Tempah Delays Second Album To Focus On America!

Tinie Tempah has scrapped plans to release his second album this year in order to focus his attentions on America. The follow-up to Disc-Overy was originally set for release before Christmas, but his recent US success – Written In The Stars is at No 13 and climbing – has meant he has decided to put all his efforts into breaking the tough American market.

A source told the Daily Star: “Tinie has got the busiest schedule around, but you’ll never hear him moan. Even when he’s on a plane, he’s thinking of ideas for his next album, show or performance. As much as he wants to get new music out to his fans he doesn’t want to short-change them, so the album will now come out in 2012.”

The Brit Award winner releases Disc-Overy in the States on 17 May with three all-new tracks. Till I’m Gone was produced by Stargate and will be his second American single; Love Suicide, also produced by Stargate, features Esther Dean and So Addicted was produced by Boi 1Da and features Bei Maejor.

Tinie is currently touring the US as a support act for Lupe Fiasco, Usher, Nas and others. The Pass Out rapper is up for an Ivor Novello songwriting award for best contemporary song. The winners are announced on 19 May but due to his hectic US promo schedule, he is unlikely to attend the ceremony.

Tinie Tempah Leads The Pack With Four BRIT Award Nominations!

If 2010 was a great year for Tinie Tempah, then 2011 is going to be a fantastic one. The south London-born MC is the front runner at this year’s BRIT Awards, receiving an astonishing four nominations.

The 22-year-old star – who’s up for Best Breakthrough Artist, Best Male, Best Single and Best Album – will have stiff competition in the form of Plan B, who’ll be up against the ‘Pass Out’ rapper in three of those categories.

Both musicians have seen their current albums reach number one, as well receive widespread critical acclaim, so it’ll be a close call between the two London lads.

Mercury Prize winners The xx and Mumford & Sons also received three nominations, while Take That, Ellie Goulding and Cheryl Cole gained two nominations apiece.

The 2011 Brit Awards take place at London’s O2 arena on February 15.

Tinie Tempah Talks New Album!

Tinie Tempah has revealed that he’s already started making plans for his second album. The ‘Pass Out’ rapper’s debut album, ‘Disc-Overy’, shot to number one in October, and continues to churn out hits. But, the south London MC is thinking ahead and is already cooking up ideas for his follow up LP…

He told X Magazine: “Well my tour kicks off in February, but apart from that I’m going to be abroad a lot in Australia and America writing my second album to draw inspirations from a few different places. And then the second album, and then going on tour again in November! And hopefully I’ll do a few side projects with some of my favourite artists.”

The 22-year-old grime star also revealed that he may explore with electronic sounds for his sophomore record: “I don’t want to give anything away yet but maybe a live and an electronic thing, a few different creative pieces. Basically next year’s plan is to just keep it moving and keep on getting bigger and better.”

Tinie releases new song ‘Invincible’, which features Kelly Rowland, December 27.

Jay-Z: ‘I’ll Help Tinie Tempah Break The US’

Jay-Z has said he’d be happy to help UK rapper Tinie Tempah make it big in the US.

The rap legend runs his own management company and record label Roc Nation– who look after acts including Rihanna and Mark Ronson.

Earlier this year he also signed a deal with Tinchy Stryder’s company Takeover Entertainment.

Of the Pass Out star Jigga told Radio 1: “If he wants to be super and successful he should come to us. I’ve been hearing about him.”

Jay has been giving interviews to promote his new Greatest Hits album and his new book Decoded. He’s also been in the UK working with Kanye West on their new joint record Watch The Throne.

A bonus disc will also be released with the hits album featuring rare or previously unheard tracks – MTV News!

Here are some extracts from Jay-Z new book ‘Decoded’…

His First Arrest

Jay-Z’s first arrest came at age 16. He was dealing in Trenton, because his friend “Hill” had a supplier there. Hill had enrolled in the local high school, and one day when Jay-Z went to meet him, he got caught with crack in his pockets on the campus. Since he had no prior arrests, the police let him go, but they confiscated his supply. In order to make up the cash to the supplier, Jay-Z had to go back to Marcy and deal crack 60 hours straight — three days in a row, he writes. He kept awake by “eating cookies and writing rhymes on the back of brown paper bags.”

The Lance Rivera incident

Jay-Z glosses over his 1999 stabbing of record producer Lance Rivera, which resulted in the rapper pleading guilty to assault and receiving three years probation. He says he was infuriated because someone had leaked a bootleg copy of “Vol. 3 . . . Life and Times of S. Carter” more than a month before the release date of the album. When he asked who was behind the leak, everyone kept repeating the same name: Rivera. When Jay-Z saw him at rapper Q-Tip’s album release party at the Kit Kat Klub, he confronted him. Rivera “got real loud with me right there in the middle of the club,” Jay-Z writes, “It was strange. We separated and I went over to the bar . . . I was . . . in a state of shock . . . I headed back over to him, but this time I was blacking out with anger. After this, chaos ensued in the club, “That night the guy went straight to the police and I was charged with assault.” He says he decided to plead guilty after watching Puff Daddy’s trial on weapons violations that same year. Puffy was acquitted, and Jay-Z says he feared the state would be harder on him after failing to convict his friend. “The hilarious thing,” he writes, “if any of this can be considered funny, is that the Rocawear bubble coat I was wearing when they paraded me in front of the cameras started flying off the shelves the last three weeks before Christmas.”

Getting High with Biggie

“Biggie made a cameo appearance in the 1996 video for “Ain’t no Nigga,” which Jay-Z was filming with Foxy Brown in Miami just when he started to break. Jay-Z says he looked down on smoking pot as counterproductive, and only did so on vacation. “I could count the number of times I’d smoked trees,” he writes. But when Big asked him to smoke, he said to himself, “Relax, you’re not on the streets anymore.” So he smoked, and got stoned out of his mind just before the video started shooting. Laughing at his formerly sober friend, Biggie leaned in and whispered in Jay-Z’s ear: “I got ya.” It took Jay-Z 20 minutes in his room to gather his wits. Later he told his friend: “Never again my nigga.”

Befriending Obama

“A friend of President Obama’s helped set up a meeting with Jay-Z in 2008, he says. The two talked for hours. “I wish I could remember a specific moment when it hit me that this guy was special. But it wasn’t like that,” he writes. “It was the fact that he sought me out and then asked question after question about music, about where I’m from, about what people in my circle — the wider circle that reaches . . . all the way back to Marcy — were thinking about politically.” When Beyoncé sang at the inauguration, he writes, he watched from the audience instead of backstage so he could “feel the energy of everyday people. It was unbelievable to see us — me, Beyoncé, Puff, and other people I’ve known for so long — sharing in this rite of passage.”

I’m a HUGE Jay-Z fan, but for some reason I’m really not so excited about the book….

TINCHY STRYDER “GAME OVER” {OFFICIAL VIDEO} FEAT. GIGGS, PROFESSOR GREEN, TINIE TEMPAH, DEVLIN, EXAMPLE & CHIPMUNK!

Tinchy Stryder tore the house down at the MOBO’s with his performance of new song “Game Over” – which features of Brit all star line up, consisting of Giggs, Devlin, Professor Green and Tinie Tempah. Now there’s a video and it also features Example and Chipmunk. WOW! Talk about a killer line up. This song was soooo needed in the scene. All lot of these UK MC’s have left their grime roots and adopted commercial pop mainstream sound, in order to gain success. So to see them all coming together to do a real hard grime track is beautiful to watch and most importantly hear.

I this is the beginning if something very special. 2011 is when (real) grime broke into the mainstream without having to sound so mainstream. Team UK all the way!

TINIE TEMPAH ADDED TO STARS OF 2010!

Things just keep on getting better for Tinie Tempah. He’s already got two number one singles under his belt and earlier this week was nominated for an MTV Europe Award. Now the 21-year-old south Londoner has just been added to the bill of performers for this year’s T4 Stars Of 2010.

The ‘Frisky’ MC will join the likes of Mark Ronson & The Business INTL, Alexandra Burke, Professor Green, Example and Pixie Lott, for the annual music show, which takes at Earls Court on November 21…

If things seem to be exciting for Tinie Tempah now, they’re only going to get more exciting when he releases his debut album ‘Disc-Overy’ on 4 October.
More acts for the Stars Of 2010 show are expected to be announced over the following weeks. Tickets are on sale now, available via www.channel4.com/t4.

New Video | Tinie Tempah | Written In The Stars | Feat. Eric Turner

Here’s the third single and official video from London rapper Tinie Tempah. I’m glad that he didn’t play it safe with a third consecutive Labrinth produced track. Don’t get me wrong “Pass Out” and “Frisky” are two of my favourite songs of the year, but I think as an artist you’ve got to always try new things and not just take the safe route. I like that he switched it up for the third single. Tinie’s definitely one of my favourite UK MC’s. He’s commercial and credible. It can be done #teamUK

Tinie Tempah Gives Back To The Community!

Tinie Tempah is currently the hottest new Grime artist to break out and take the mainstream charts by storm. With his unique flow and a distinctive sound that separates him from his peers , the Frisky MC is not only controlling the official charts, but also has the club scene and underground eating out of the palm of his hands. And his quirky fashion style has many comparing him to Kanye West -signalling that the future is very bright for this south Londoner.

The 21-year-old has kept his feet firmly on the ground during this roller coaster of a ride and has not forgotten his humble roots. The rapper is backing a scheme that will give youths the chance to see him perform live for free, if they complete four hours of voluntary community work, reports the Voice Online.
The Orange RockCorps scheme originally launched in 2008 to bring social change through music and gives young people the opportunity to work for a charity of their choice.

“I don’t want to be one of those patronising musicians who tells you to work hard at school, but I want to show it through my actions,” Tinie Tempah explains.

I think this is cool and a good opportunity to meet new people and to keep yourself occupied. It teaches good skills, like teamwork and socialising in a working environment… Money doesn’t fall from the sky-you’ve got to get out there and make it happen,” he adds.

New Video | Tinchy Stryder | Gangsta? | Feat Tinie Tempah

Here’s the new single and video from Tinchy Stryder featuring fellow London MC Tinie Tempah. I’m REALLY liking this song. I like Tinchy a lot; he comes across like a really nice guy. I’m glad he’s tried a new more ‘hard’ sound with this single and not down the ‘safe’ dance/rap root. Don’t get me wrong, I like the dance/hip-hop sound, but I belive as an artist you have to push the boundaries and switch it up from time-to-time and Tinchie’s done that… and I’m luvin’ it. Tinie brings some good vibes to the track as well.

The UK hiphop scene is on a steady rise. Nice!
