Cheryl Cole is allegedly facing an investigation into her outburst at The X Factor contestant, Wagner Carrilho, after she approached him live on TV over his “council estate” comment.
As we previously reported, the Girls Aloud star hit out at Wagner after his performance on Saturday’s live show, following comments the Brazilian crooner made regarding Chezza’s working class background.
Now, the Daily Star has reported that many angry viewers contacted Ofcom over Cole’s rant, accusing the Promise This singer of “trying to get Wagner axed.”
The tabloid also claimed that Chezza appeared to slate Carrilho on the Xtra Factor, hinting that the 54-year old has “an evil streak” that the public isn’t aware of.
She has also refused to apologise to Wagner for pulling him up on the show, claiming to pals that she “had to answer back”, despite the reported trouble she is now in.
This is not the first time Cheryl has faced an Ofcom investigation, after she sparked outrage by refusing to chose between her acts Katie Waissel and Treyc Cohen a few weeks ago, with rumours claiming she is even considering quitting the show.
Despite these reports, Wagner could allegedly win The X Factor after a voting leak on the internet claims that the out-of-tune singer is in the top half of the votes every week.
It is thought the general public are keeping in the contestant to infuriate boss Simon Cowell, who has made no secret of the fact that he is not a Wagner fan.
Meanwhile in other Wagner news, the Over-28’s hopeful has quashed reports that he was evicted from the XF contestants house, claiming that he “begged” to leave.
Carrilho told The Sun: “I begged to get out. It’s better for hygiene. The house is disgusting. I was putting weight on. I asked for a hotel with a swimming pool.”
When asked about his on-air spat with fellow finalist, Matt Cardle, Wagner stated: “I’m not going to slap every idiot that comes my way.” – MTV Newss!
Truthfully speaking it has been a really bad year on X-Factor for Cheryl. I haven’t been a fan of her judging choices this year (getting rid of Gumu and choosing not to vote between Katie and TreyC) and I’ve been less than impressed with her fashion choices (sack the stylist Chezza). Oh don’t even get me started on the red hair extensions. But with that all said I am a big Cheryl fan and I believe she’ll come back stronger next year.
