Tulisa Offered Half A Million For X-Factor Judging Role!

  • Fazer and Tula "Tulisa" Contostavlos - The Brit Awards - Inside Arrivals

Last week I revealed that Tulisa has been lined up to replace Dannii Minogue as a Judge on this year’s X-Factor. And now it’s being reported the N-Dubz singer is gearing up to sign a mega £500,000 deal to join the ITV talent show.

A friend of the 22-year-old star spoke with The Sun newspaper, telling the tabloid that Tulisa is very keen to ink the deal: “This is a dream come true for Tulisa. This will catapult her to a household name,” the friend explained. “She is being talked about as the new Cheryl.”

Take That star Gary Barlow is set to replace Simon Cowall and is being offered a staggering £1.5 million contract. Reports are also rife that former Destiny’s Child singer Kelly Rowland will take the final judging slot.

Wow, that’s a lot of change all at once. It’s going to be interesting to see how this new panel work. No Simon, Cheryl or  Dannii, means that there’s some BIG shoes to fill…

Kanye West’s Today Show Interview w/ Matt Lauer (full version)

Kanye West recently cancelled his upcoming scheduled performance on the Today Show, following his disapproval to this interview. West later took to his twitter too express the following…

I’m not performing on the Today Show for obvious reasons. I’m so happy the world got to see just a small piece of “the set up”

I blatantly said I’m not performing on a tweet and to everyone around me and the next day they still announced a performance.

Do you guys see what I’m saying now… this is just a small slice of the day to day bullshit that goes on that helps to precipitate…

… the idea that I such an asshole…. cause when I don’t perform oh noooow I’m the one that’s crazy or a jerk!

If I hadn’t tweeted about how they set me up at the show they would have never played the extra footage that displayed how disrespectful…

I want you guys to look at that footage and start to put everything together now. It’s very simple to call someone angry or spoiled or…

the one thousand names I’ve been called but it’s harder to try to take a look at what’s really behind the curtain.

I’m so happy that my real fans are not as “basic” as the media makes them out to be… Did you see them try to justify playing the audio under my interview. Yo sometimes you’re just wrong and it ain’t nothing you can say to justify it believe me I know!

Right now I’m not complaining. I’m tweeting because I’m so happy you guys got to see this shit really go down!!!!! : ))))))!!!! FINALLY!!!

…And I don’t hate Matt Lauer… We don’t promote hate. That’s the whole point!!! I promote love and truth!

… we’re all products or our environments … reflections of our surroundings…

You know what ….WE OFF THAT!!!… They made a mistake… they thought they could pull it but they couldn’t! That was just a small representation of a bigger media play that’s been going on since the beginning of time.

All positive energy … all smiles. Much love to Matt and the whole Today Show. I accept ya’ll future apology in advance LOL!

I can kind of understand Kanye’s frustration to the situation. But then again Matt Lauer is one of those hard topic picking journalists – kind of like Jeremy Paxman – who tackles the controversial issues that others may pussyfoot around (pardon my French). I admire Kanye’s vulnerability in this interview, especially his apology to Bush. In that split second he wasn’t Kanye the confident multi platinum selling rapper, he just seemed down to earth and very relatable to the average person.

But then he told the staff to be quiet when he was talking and had a bit of a moan about them playing the tape of him gate crashing Taylor Swift‘s MTV acceptance speech – which slightly erased his previous vulnerable relatable moment.

I think Kanye’s fans will definitely understand where he was coming from and why he was so upset by it – I totally get his frustration. But I think the Today Show (and NBC’s) target audience may not fully understand Kanye’s reaction. And I think this is the audience he was mainly appealing to when doing this interview….

Who knows?! That’s just my two sense anyway. Thought I’d throw it in there.

Lady Gaga continues her quest to take over the world. And so far, so good. The global pop superstar has just become the first artist to reach over one billion YouTube views, making her the queen of the YouTube. She’s also got the most followers on twitter – in your face Ashton Kutcher – so that makes her the of queen of the internet generation. Go Gaga!

But word is teen sensation Justin Bieber is right on Gaga’s heels and could over take her very soon.

Watching Avatar On My Giant Flat Screen Is AMAZING!

There are so many good films about to come out at the cinema. Next week, I’m off to see Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, with Michael Douglas and Shia Labeouf. The trailer looks so good and if it’s anything like the first instalment, it’s likely to be a classic. Plus Michael Douglas is a class A actor and Shia’s super cute… Oh and he can act too. Then the following week I’m off to see The Social Network, you know that film about facebook, with Justin Timberlake – I’ve read the reviews… and they’re good. Really good.

But there are only so many times one can go to the movies. So DVD’s are a must, especially for movie lovers like myself. But you know with the right TV and perfect surroundings, watching a DVD at home can be just as enjoyable as going to the movies. Believe it or not, up until last week I had never seen Avatar. I know, crazy right? So when the DVD came out I was the first in line at my local supermarket to get a copy. But everyone told me it wouldn’t be the same as seeing it at the cinema. Well, they were wrong, because last week I got myself the mother of all flat screens, it’s a samsung 65 inch tv and trust me when I say watching it is like being at the movies. It’s huge and the surround sound is amazing. But the best part is I got myself an outdoor tv enclosures, so I watched it outside in my garden. So I basically turned my garden into an outdoor cinema. How cool is that? It was definitely worth the wait.

Now all my friends want to come round and watch my fab TV. So this weekend I’m hosting an outdoor TV night in my garden. We’re going to watch the football, then X-Factor, with a couple of beers. I’ve even got a tiki torch so if it gets dark we can stay out ‘till late and make it into a little party. Fun Fun Fun!!!!

I better go and stock up on some beer and popcorn…
